About me

I'm a Chilean architect based in Carmel, Indiana. I discovered architecture in my early twenties, but long before that, I had developed a deep connection with nature. Growing up surrounded by Chile's remarkably diverse landscapes, I learned to see nature not as scenery, but as something to experience and understand. I was inspired by architects who treated the landscape as an essential part of architecture, not simply its surroundings. That philosophy became the foundation of my design approach.

I believe great architecture does more than shape places—it shapes the way we live. My work begins with understanding how people live, how landscapes shape experience, and how thoughtful design can enrich everyday life, improve well-being, and enhance our quality of life. My work is also driven by an interest in construction systems, material innovation, and craftsmanship, believing that how we build is as important as what we create. Guided by nature, clarity, and timeless simplicity, I strive to create environments that foster balance and meaningful connections between people, architecture, and the natural world.

    • Develop design concepts, technical drawings, and 3D visualizations for high-end projects.

    • Coordinate with clients to align design intent, budget, and project goals.

    • Prepare take off´s, proposals, and project documentation.

    • Support multiple projects through design and planning phases.

  • Landscape Designer

    Calvin Landscape | Oct 2024 - March 2026

    • Produced site plans, renderings, and material take-offs for residential landscape projects.

    • Collaborated with subcontractors and project teams during planning and execution.

    • Contributed to the delivery of 115+ residential projects within one year.

    • Assisted with award submissions, presentations, and design development.

  • Architect / Founder

    PEM Architecture | August 2024 - present

    • Founded and manage an architecture and design practice focused on residential and small-scale projects in Chile.

    • Develop construction drawings, site plans, and 3D visualizations.

    • Coordinate clients, consultants, and contractors through design and permitting phases.

    • Manage scheduling, project documentation, and business operations.

    • Led sales visits and client relations, providing personalized service throughout the project process.
